EAA Compliance is Here – Act by June 28 2025

As part of ongoing regulatory developments, we want to ensure your website remains fully compliant with the latest requirements under the EEA Compliance Act. This implementation will enhance data protection, improve transparency, and align your operations with European standards.

The European Accessibility Act (EAA), which comes into full force on June 28, 2025, introduces a unified set of accessibility requirements for websites, mobile apps and other digital products and services. The goal? To make sure that people with disabilities can access and use digital services as easily as everyone else.

What is the European Accessibility Act (EAA)?

The European Accessibility Act (EAA), which comes into full force on June 28, 2025, introduces a unified set of accessibility requirements for websites, mobile apps and other digital products and services. The goal? To make sure that people with disabilities can access and use digital services as easily as everyone else.

Who needs to comply?

The short answer – B2C service providers who operate in, or serve consumers within the European Union, and who offer public-facing websites or mobile apps.

How do you comply?

Option 1 – We conduct an audit and make changes to the design of your website, so that it meets EEA standards

Option 2 – We install an Accessibility Solution that facilitates all of the above, empowering site visitors with full control over how they interact with and experience your website. This ensures that users can customize visual elements, text, navigation, and other features to meet their individual needs.

What are the fines for non-compliance?

Fines for non-compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) can range from €5,000 to €20,000 per violation, depending on the severity and context. However, the exact penalty varies depending on the EU member state and may also include daily fines and other restrictions.

How much will compliance cost?

The good news – Option 2 is effective and affordable.

We will install an approved, multilingual Accessibility Solution for a once only configuration fee of 150 EUROS and an ongoing monthly fee of 35 EUROS.

We will contact you shortly to discuss the above in detail, so that we can action the above before the June 28th deadline. However, if you would prefer to contact us today – click here.
